Association's Guru Nanak Dev Ji Gurpurab Dinner.  Summarized the legacy of Guru
Nanak Dev Ji, as well as highlighted Sikh based accomplishments to America.

at their Gurpurab celebrations.  Emphasized how the message of Guru Nanak Dev Ji is
still needed in today's modern world.

*SSD personal note:  Although I am not well versed in Gurmukhi, I attempted to
truly reflect on several sayings of Guru Nanak Dev Ji in the speech.  I do apologize
if they were stated incorrectly.




After two years of publishing incorrect information about Sikhism, provided a short
speech as a precursor to the Bhangra Blowout show about Sikhism to a Non-Sikh

4,000 strong sold-out audience.

While serving in Operation Iraqi Freedom, Sgt. Uday Singh of the US Army
was the first person of Indian decent to perish serving the US Armed
Forces.  One year after his passing, he was honored at a Sikh ceremony
at Arlington National Cemetery.
